Taking A Seat In History

Taking A Seat In History

Cairo’s Saladin Citadel sits up high on Mokattam hill overlooking the sprawling city. The Citadel was fortified between 1176 and 1183 CE to protect from the Crusaders and was the home of Egyptian rulers for 700 years. Now, it is just another part of Cairo’s rich history and an excellent place to sit with a friend and watch the world go by.
